Today’s the day. Alpha Nomos, our indie rhythm action roguelike, is out now on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Stay on beat or the puppets win.

Get it on Steam

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, you’ll find it in your console’s store.

Launch discount: 10% off for 12 days, until October 24. That’s $16.19 instead of the regular $17.99. (Steam shows the price in your local currency.)

Who knew saving the world could sound this good?
Play as Cello and fight through an army of rogue puppets in a ruined world, where the mystery of what shattered it is tied to the strange force called music.

  • Combat on the beat: land your strikes on the beat, then mix in quick eighth notes and rests between hits to build bigger combos.
  • Powerups you can hear: weapons recorded with live instruments, and upgrades like Reverb, Flanger and Delay that change both how you fight and how you sound. Combine them differently each run.
  • A world that reacts to your music: as you make progress, the environment comes back to life around you.
  • Full controller support: Xbox controllers and PlayStation controllers (DualShock and DualSense via USB on PC) are supported, and we recommend playing with a controller.
  • Play in your language: the interface and subtitles are available in 23 languages.

A note from the team
From day one, our idea was that rhythm shouldn’t be a side mechanic. It should be the whole fight. More than 20,000 of you wishlisted Alpha Nomos before launch, and we’re grateful to everyone who played, shared and hung out with us on Discord along the way.
